Ugh, so I have been putting off inevitable things here as of late. Baby Ruby was born and only 30 minutes in from the hospital I was working. Only a phone call, but it was work I was wrapping my mind in. Only one more phone call the first week and then 2nd week off to the grind of it all! Ruby is such a sweet little thing. I really just want to hold her all the time, but the other 3 require attention too. I read an assembly sewing blog today and now I am getting some motivation back to get those diapers done! Then I am going to make a wrap so I can babywear all the time. Maybe I'll get my fill of her then. NOT! hee-hee! Just when I don't think I can handle anymore I just can't get enough of them all. Ayden says to me "Don't you just love your baby Mommy"? I say "I love all my babies". Even with hers and Sissy's and Solomon's protests I still call them my babies. Back to it I guess, girls are getting off the preschool bus soon and lunch needs to be ready. ;)
hugs~

Peter Cottontail
Oh what a treat I had this morning before I left the house! Peter cottontail came outta nowhere and got about 4 foot from the van while I was waiting for Steve to get the girls in his truck. (We took them together this morning. Nice to do it as a family. ) He stood up like he was trying to get a better look at me and then rubbed his two front paws together and then it looked like he was clapping a bit. He ran he paws over his face and then hopped off a little way and then came back again like he was seeing me off for the day. It was very funny and sweet.

Things small
I tormented myself all last week in the honey-do listing and the self-lists for the warm weather and almost overwhelmed myself. Instead of blogging the serenity of the weather I spent my time in it. Eldest was staying at a friend's house cooking out. Oldest girl fell asleep watching Little Einsteins and youngest stayed up with us for the evening. She is my wild one. I picture her one day twirling under the falling autumn leaves barely clothed one day. She's my little nature girl and will not sleep as long as the Earth has something growing or until she can't hold head up any longer. She definately made up for it yesterday.
I had a lovely visit with a friend and her children for a good part of yesterday afternoon. It was so nice to be able to have her kiddos and mine interact so well. Well, except Sissy (youngest) kept taking her little girls formula bottle. LOL! She has to feel, smell and taste everything.
I stopped my lists when I felt the cool half mudd half grass under my feet on the way to the firepit while Sissy was swinging and hubby was pushing. All in all I have to say this weekend may not have accomplished a whole big bunch, but it was joyous. Hope that all went well for you too!

My love horoscope today:
If you have something on your mind today, tell it to your partner straight. That doesn't mean you should be callous, just say what you have to say with directness and honesty.
Okay done that. Hee-hee!
life horoscope:
Today, combine your passion for travel with the huge burst of organizational energy that's buzzing in your brain. Get to planning your next adventure! Start doing some research and let your traveling companions know that you are kicking things into high gear. Get their input and ideas, too -- it's very important to keep this group outing a group effort! But there is no denying that you're the right person to be in charge. No one can wrangle up all the details as well as you can.
Now where can I go? Can't be far with baby on the way and cost next to nothing. I'm going to think on this. :)
Overview:
If you make it through the day without smiling, you're in the wrong place. Your great energy should make most of your day's activities lots of fun and it's easy to infect others with the same spirit!
I have to admit my energy levels and good mood are at an all time high today. Guess the forecast was just right today. :)
Wish you enough,
Steph

Baby Steps
When Solomon was 2 years old I had moved on my own completely. Just th two of us. I had his room complete and mine semi complete. Bed and dresser was complete to me. :) Solomon's did have curtains though. LOL! Anyway, I was very minimal. My life had been so chaotic that I wanted to keep myself and Solomon surrounded with only positive energy. Sooo, the only things in our living room were a stereo cabinet and some old home interior birds on the walls. Radio of course for background noise or entertainment and the birds symbolized our new freedom. We had picnics in the kitchen or living room and the kitchen was our art studio. I had a roll of paper or what ever poster board I could find and we'd paint for hours and when we were done we'd tape them all over the walls to dry. It was fun and soothing. This was my start to being true to myself and my belief in myself.

Ahahaaaa!
I just read my first and last blog I worte on here. I haven't been here since. My new goals will be posted soon as I am busy, busy, busy these days. I am doing my research and getting the things together for my first garden. Yes folks, the very first. I am a suburban girl that grew up with musicians, doctors, bodyshops and insurance adjusting. Life full of diversities and putting it all together I have me. Quirky if you please. Office manager by day and Mommy and soon to be gardener by night. :) Cloth diapers are as far as I have gotten to "green", a word which can be mistaken and overused so I'll try not to use it that often. :) I want to love nature and not be jealous of it. ~just fair warning: I make sense to me. I may not to you.~ hee hee!
I hope to put my plan together and I'll try to post it with pictures as soon as I get the chance.
Many hugs.
Wishing you enough,
Steph
